STAGE 1: ESTABLISHING A VISION
During this stage, the client will tell us what they want for a home and gives us a general idea of project goals. We will work with you to design a blueprint of your home and then create a quote to make sure your dreams are within your budget. Project planning and quoting is a process. We work directly with our trade partners and the clients to build a thorough quote and scope of work for the project. If the quote is accepted, a deposit is needed, then it's full speed ahead.
STAGE 2: PLANS & PERMITTING
We are confident in our ability to help you design the home of your dreams. Have fun and enjoy the design process with us. We'll have plenty of questions and ideas for you to hone in on what you want. Bring all your ideas and dreams to the table, and we'll make them happen. Plans and design will be finalized to be sent to our trade partners and for permitting.
STAGE 3: SITE WORK AND FOUNDATION
Now that you've finished planning, budgeting, and have your building permit, the fun begins. A crew will need to clear the land and level it to be able to start construction. The house layout is set, all underground plumbing and electrical is laid, then the foundation is poured.
STAGE 4: FRAMING
Once the foundation is in place, it's time for our team to start framing and roofing. We will build out the structural framework of the home. The exterior walls go up first, followed by floor systems and the roof rafters. The sheathing is then put up to cover the frame and provide a protective barrier. At this stage, you can start to "see" your vision come to life.
STAGE 5: ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, HVAC
During this stage, we start to work on the guts of the house. We provide in-house electrical and HVAC services; and also work with trusted local trade partners in the area to have the mechanical elements come into existence.
STAGE 6: INSULATION & DRYWALL
Before we begin adding insulation, the inner components must be inspected. After the home passes the next set of inspections, the next item is insulation. Insulation helps to control the home’s climate and also helps with the home’s energy efficiency. Drywall is now ready to go up to define each room of your home.
STAGE 7: FLOORING & INTERIOR FINISH
With the outside of the structure starting to look like the picture initially envisioned, it's now time to make the interior match. This is the stage where we install cabinets, flooring, trim, and molding. It is also the phase where we apply primer to the interior walls, millwork, and cabinets and later paint them. Plumbing fixtures such as faucets, tubs, toilets, sinks, and shower units are also installed.
STAGE 8: LANDSCAPING & OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE
Landscaping is one of the final steps of the home building process and will vary based on the area and your budget. Decks, gazebos, or patios are built so you can enjoy not only the inside of your home, but the outside too!
STAGE 9: FINAL WALKTHROUGH
During this stage a final walkthrough and inspection is done. We are committed to detail and quality in our homes and want to make sure our clients are 100% satisfied each step of the way.
